Let me start with a story I read online a few days ago. It goes like this:

Two monks were passing through the jungle and going towards their monastry.

On their way, it had rained and there were puddles of water all around.

Then they encounter on their way- a big puddle of water. And on one side of the puddle, there was a young woman standing.

She wanted to cross the puddle but didn’t want to ruin her shoes and clothes.

The elder monk looked at her and went to her and pulled her into his arms.

With her in his hands, he helped her cross the puddle and reach to the other side.

Then he put her down and went ahead on his path towards the monastry.

The young monk saw this and couldn’t understand.

Later in the evening, once they had reached to the monastry and had dinner, the young monk comes to the elder monk and asks: “We can’t touch women. Right?”

“Yes”, the old monk replied.

“Then why did you hold that woman in your arms today morning?”

Well, I left her on the other side of the puddle, but you, my friend, are still carrying her.”

In our lives, there are many such memorries, events and experiences that we cringe when we think about.

We keep thinking: Why me?

I have only two words for you: LET GO.

Let go of that rejection you got in your first job.

Let go of that frustration you have with your life.

Let go of that anger, pain and bitterness towrads your enemies.

Let go of those relationships that didn’t work.

Let go of that call that you waited forever but didn’t come.

Let go of those memories of yesterdays which inject negativity in your todays and disturb your tomorrows.

Because, life exists only in NOW.

If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace.
