Toughest thing to achieve

When our lives are filled with career milestones and goals, there always is a question regarding what is something that is the toughest to achieve or conquer. To understand this, let’s read this story.

Brian had been working in an investment banking firm. He had earned a decent bonus in 2019 and he decided to gift himself a Mercedes.

So he went to the showroom and bought the latest model of Mercedes.

Getting super happy, he came out of the showroom driving his dream car.

But the happiness was short lived. On the traffic signal right outside the showroom, he saw a Ferrari.

Seeing this, he felt that his Mercedes was not as good as that Ferrari. And this took away all his happiness of buying this new car.

Then, there was another guy- Rohit. Rohit had been eyeing to buy a Hyundai i10 for last three years and finally after saving enough, he succeeded in buying a second-hand i10.

Rohit was extremely happy with his new car and he kept taking care of his car for next five years.

Every time he opened the door of his i10, he felt the immense happiness no matter how old the car became.

So, the toughest thing in life to achieve is the satisfaction.

Life is a race without a finishing line. But running a race that never ends will always be exhausting and it is up to us to define where the Chequered flag will be.

With this, I am not saying that one should be satisfied with everything that one has. He should always be aspiring but still have well-defined goals that help him gain the happiness.

One should learn how to feel content. If he keeps changing the goals the moment he achieved one, he will never get the joy that he always desired.

Till next time, ciao!
